Παλαιωμένο σε δρύινα βαρέλια σύμφωνα με την παράδοση του νησιού, αλλά με απόσταξη σε στήλες, το Trinidad 2003 αποκτά ξεχωριστό και μοντέρνο χαρακτήρα και βραβεύεται με τέσσερα αστέρια από το Spirit Journal 2015.

PLANTATION BARBADOS 2005 — ELEGANT AND EXOTIC

This vintage was distilled in 2008 in a four column still at Trinidad Distillers, and has been aged 10 years in Trinidad, then matured 1 year in Ferrand casks.

SYMBOL

The label depicts a plantation where oxen pull a plow through the earth to remember that Trinidad was an important land for sugar cane cultivation before rum was introduced. The Frieze highlights a red ibis, symbol of the island of Trinite also present on the coat of arms of Trinidad and Tobago.

TASTING NOTES

Nose : White fruits directly followed by white chocolate are enhanced by a citrus notes wich bring fresh component. Very floral and slightly woody.

Palate : Freshness first pops up with deep fruit notes. Spices arrive later and are mixed with woody tones.

Finish : Round bouquet of chocolate and spices.
