Blood Orange Purée

ODK blood oranges are grown in Sicily, exclusively in Piana di Catania and in some villages around Enna and Siracusa. Sicilian oranges, due to the combination of volcanic soil and the Mediterranean climate, are unique in terms of taste and nutritional value and considered the best healthy fruit, to the extent that they have obtained the PGI (Protected Geographical Indication) label in the European Union.

The proximity of our orchards to the active volcano Etna provides a unique, fertile soil, which, combined with the dry climate, creates ideal conditions for the cultivation of this unusual fruit with typical red flesh. Due to its proximity to our production chain in Catania, ODK Blood Orange is classified as a high quality zero KM product ( zero KM product), which means that fruit travels very shortly from cultivation to production.
