A unique smoking process with Mexican mesquite wood creates a crisp and fruity agave flavor profile with a light smoky flavor and a hint of chili. This is accompanied by aromas of roasted delicacies and a light, elegant agave note.

Sierra Milenario Tequila Fumado bears the Mayan zodiac sign "IMIX - IMOX", the crocodile, and comes in white with elegant gray nuances. The zodiac sign is masculine and represents polarization.

At the Tequila Masters 2019 of the international magazine SPIRITS BUSINESS, Sierra Milenario Tequila Fumadio was able to convince the jury and was awarded a master's medal.

Sierra Tequila is produced by the Gonzalez family 3rd generation at Sierra Unidas distillery which is an old Hacienda located in Guadalajara, the birthplace of Tequila.

Senor Rodolfo Gonzalez, general manager and master distiller still produces Tequila the same way his father and great grandfather used to. His credo? “Great Tequila comes from the distillery; however excellent Tequila comes from the field”.

Sierra Tequilas are made exclusively from the high-quality agaves grown in the highlands of the Mexican state of Jalisco. That is the reason why Sierra was one of the first tequila distilleries in the world to stop using artificial fertilizer on its fields.
