El Dorado 2010 Port Mourant Uitvlugt Limited Edition

In 2010 Demerara Distillers Ltd. selected Rum Marques from the Port Mourant Wooden Double Pot Still and Uitvlugt Continuous Savalle Still.

The Marques PM and ICBU were Blended in the Barrel right after Distillation. This unique Blend is 100% Tropically Aged for 9 years in Guyana in Ex-Bourbon Barrels and Non-Chill Filtered, to preserve its authentic flavors. Bottled in Guyana in 2019 as a Limited Edition.

Smell: Dark chocolate, honey, molasses and caramel, vanilla, ginger and white pepper

Taste: Very spicy, nutmeg and clove, in balance with sweet notes of molasses, honey and liquorice with a hint of dark chocolate at the end.
