Chichibu The Peated 2016 700ml

This is the Japanese peated single malt from Chichibu, released as part of the Ichiro's Malt series. It was bottled in 2016 at 54.5% ABV, with 6,350 bottles produced.

Nose: TCP and wood smoke, with underlying caramel sweetness.

Palate: Slightly grassy at first, followed up by flamed orange peel and earthy pear.

Finish: Touched of grilled fruit and toasted rye bread.
