The Avgoustiatis is made of grapes of the homonymous local variety. It has bright purple colour, aromas of red fruits with fragrant overtones of cocoa, ripe walnut and sour cherry in the aftertaste and goes well with roasted red and white meat, casseroles, poultry, etc. The annual production is around 900 bottles and its ageing potential is 4-6 years.
