Over 75 years of tradition in quality

In 1938 Konstantinos D. Vattis comes to Athens from Constantinople (Istanbul) as a chemist. He creates "STAR- Vinegar Factory" collaboratively at Votanicos, down town Athens. In 1952 he takes full control of the company and with hard work and patience manages to make his product known as the top quality vinegar of Greece. With the help of his younger son Nikolaos, quality and service become the fuel that move the company forward.

In 1981 Nikolaos Vattis takes control of the company. With patience and a lot of effort he brings new ideas and products closer to the public, through exhibitions and radio advertising. At the end of the 90's Nikolaos Vattis adds lemon dressing to his product line, following the strict quality policy and standards of the company. In 2007 the company is transferred to its new, proprietary establishments in Aspropyrgos.

In 2010, the third generation takes the wheel of the company. Konstantinos N. Vattis unites the company's logos under a new, modern brand. As an agricultural engineer and scientist, he manages to produce balsamic and apple cider vinegar of top quality, under the guidance of his father. In 2014 the company's social sensitivity is acknowledged and UNESCO presents the company with an honorary award for its contribution to poverty relief institutions. 2015 finds the company certified with FSSC-22000 by TUV Nord.
