Mavroudi Vourvoukeli 13% alc., Still, Dry Red Wine, PGI Thrace - Vourvoukeli Estate
The "Mavroudi" variety is counted among the oldest Greek grape varieties. Its name is associated with the characteristic feature of the grapes, namely their dark red color. This is a particular variety that displays rich aromas and at the same time, an intense tannic character, under correct vinification conditions. The micro-oxygenation process that takes place during its aging in oak barrels has as its result a wine with soft aromas of berries and notes of vanilla. A crimson color, with aromas such as those of cherry, strawberry, and aromatic herbs. Dry with a well-structured taste, pleasant acidity with rich tannins included. An intense aftertaste with good duration.
