Vineyards

Winemaking

Cold soak for 48 hours, followed by fermentation on skins and gentle extraction for 10 days. The wine remains in 225lt oak barrels 1st and 2nd use for 28 months.

Tasting Notes

The wine has a deep purple-red colour, with a multi-layered complexity of blackberries, chocolate, vanilla, tobacco and spice. Delicately structured with herb-laced finish, this full-bodied wine has power yet sufficiently supple tannins.

Serve at 18°C with a variety of grilled meats and sausages as well as chocolate based desserts.

Under proper storage conditions this wine can be aged and enjoyed for up to 15 years.
