The 30-year old vineyard “Pirovolikes" is planted with the grape variety Vilana, and is still being pruned traditionally as a bush vine. It is considered one of the most privileged vineyards of our area. The vineyard is situated at 650m., on a medium slope with rocky soil and a southeast aspect, and gives us a wine of high concentration and aroma.

Tasting Note:Medium yellow colour intense aromas of luscious tree fruits with notes of citrus blossom and cedar. Unique νelvety taste with a refreshing long finish.

Food matches: Grilled or fried fish and white cheese. Serνe at 12oC. - 14oC

Wine making: After destemming and crushing the juice remained with the skins for 6 hours in order to encourage the transfer of flavor compounds. 30% of the must was barrel fermented in new French oak where weekly battonage was applied for 1 month. The rest was fermented in stainless steel, where it matured on lees contact.
