Queen Vidiano Organic White Wine

This Vidiano wine, one of the queens of Cretan grape varieties, with its stone and citrus fruit and herbal aromas, full velvety mouthfeel and mineral notes, is produced from organic vineyards at 550m altitude. Enjoy it with seafood, meat in creamy sauces and Mediterranean dishes.

Tasting Note

Pale yellow colour. Aromas of stone fruit and blooming herbs wIith hints of citrus. The mouthfeelis balanced with vibrant acidity and fruit of structure with a strong presence of fruit and chalky notes Tn the aftertaste.

Food Matches

All sea food, meat with creamy sauces as well as Mediterranean dishes with vegetables, like stuffed zucchini blossoms. Serve at 10-12°C.

Winemaking

This wine is produced from organic vineyards at an altitude of 550m. Harvested by hand during the last week of August. The grapes were destemmed and then subjected to a 24h skin contact at 10°C. The free run juice was led into stainless steel tank where it was fermented at 15-17°C for 16 days. The wine went through spontaneous malolactic fermentation.
