Don Papa Baroko

Don Papa Rum or the The Don, was inspired by the story of one of the unsung heroes of the Philippine revolution: Dionisio Magbuelas, better known locally as "Papa" Isio. Extremely delicious, it reveals bewitching notes of vanilla, citrus and spices with a beautiful sweetness.

Don Papa Baroko is made on the island of Negros, Philippines. It is distilled from molasses, known locally as "black gold", which comes from one of the many local mills on the island.

It is then aged for several years in American oak barrels. Don Papa's Master Blender then selects the most expressive casks in search of those that reveal the strongest vanilla and fruit notes.

To this blend is added a little local sugar cane for gourmet flavours. It is then cold filtered and bottled at 40°.

NOSE: Wonderfully powerful, with strong vanilla notes a touch of citrus and sweet oak

MOUTH : Smooth and Fruity, with delicate interwoven flavours of honey, candied fruits, and deliciously sweet citrus.

FINISH : Long and Rich, elevated with a delightful bee-like sting at the very end.
