Tsipouro Zacharias Without Anise
A distillate with a fine and aromatic character, clean and elegant aromas, a round mouthful and a fruity taste.
Pomace from carefully selected, ripe and healthy grapes, which are cultivated in the Valley of the Muses and come from nine different varieties.
The pomace of each variety is distilled separately, in a copper alembic, drop by drop and at a low temperature. This way only the noblest aromatic compounds are obtained. The heads and tails of the distillate are discarded, in order to keep only the heart, which is redistilled following the same slow and gentle process. Finally, the separate distillates are blended in different ratios. The main white varieties are Assyrtiko and Malagouzia, the main red is the local rare variety of Mouhtaro and Merlot. The aim is to create a tsipouro with a balanced taste and a consistent quality.
Available in 200ml and 700ml bottles.
The alcoholic content is 40%.
Served straight or with ice, as an aperitif or paired with all types of Greek and Mediterranean meze dishes.
