Inspired by ingredients commonly used in home-made mulled wine recipes in England and Iceland, Martin Miller’s Winterful Gin includes cinnamon and mandarin orange peel, added during a third distillation, to the Original blend.

THE TASTE

Intense and citrus. The mandarin and juniper are present in the nose. In the mouth the cinnamon is dominant before the mandarin reappears in the long finish.

NOSE: Intense mandarin flavour with a warm and complex background and notes of cinnamon.

PALATE: The first taste is cinnamon: sweet on the tip of the tongue. After that the spicy and sweet notes from cardamom start to appear.

FINISH: The long aftertaste clearly delivers the mandarin: refreshing citrus balanced with the complexity of the spices.

INGREDIENTS

50ml Martin Miller’s Winterful Gin

125ml Lolea Nº1

50ml Licor 43

Simple syrup or honey

Juice of one lemon or orange per serving

Garnish to taste: cinnamon stick & orange wedge.

METHOD

For a punch format:

1. Pour ingredients, multiplied by the number of servings, into a saucepan.

2. Bring to simmer and reduce to desired taste and concentration. Don’t boil.

3. Serve and enjoy

WINTERFUL GIN & GINGER

INGREDIENTS

50ml Martin Miller´s Winterful Gin

150ml ginger beer

Garnish: slice of lime & grated nutmeg

Ice

METHOD

1. Chill a highball glass with ice and empty any residue water from the melted ice.

2. Pour Martin Miller´s Winterful Gin over the ice.

3. Add the ginger beer gently to preserve the bubbles.

4. Garnish with a slice of lime and grated nutmeg.
