Tamdhu Batch Strength No2 : Special Edition Excluvely Matured in Sherry Casks

In 1897, Tamdhu distillery was born of its founders' can-dhu-spirit, and 200 years of Scottish industry.

Today, Tamdhu batch strength honours and upholds their passion to make only the finest single malt. A small number of exceptional sherry oak casks have been hand selected and bottled un-chillfiltered, at natural colour and high strength to represent Tamdhu at its best. Each batch is unique and varies slightly in style and strength bat always captures the complex richness and intensity of cherry cask matured whisky.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Warming golden surup, brown bread with peanut butter, cinammon, white peper and coctail cherries.

Palate: Mouth coating sherry oak, lightly heated berries and creamy vanilla - Adding water brings out cookie dough, gentle spice and fresh fruit.

Finish: Spicy notes continue long into the finish with dried fruits, hazelnut and vanilla.
