THE NIKKA TAILORED

The Nikka Tailored, a premium blend of the historical Japanese whisky maker, is a worthy ambassador of the Japanese knowhow and culture as well as Nikka’s expertise.

Blended with precision and delicacy, this whisky is a blend primarily of malted barley from Miyagikyo in Honshū and Yoichi in Hokkaidō, along with Coffey Still grain.

The result is a perfect symbol of balance, roundness and softness, so many adjectives that characterise Nikka.

This product does not meet all the criteria of “Japanese whisky “ defined by the Japan Spirits & Liqueur Makers Association.

COLOUR : Deep gold.

NOSE : Smooth and round, the nose takes us into a fruity universe with apple, apricot and whitefleshed fruits. Strong presence of honey, as well as chocolate notes with orange candied peel aromas.

PALATE : Gourmet. The mouth offers a very interesting duality. On one side, a pastry style marked by vanilla and kouglof and, on the other, the bitterness that is detected with dark chocolate and citrus zest such as tangerine and orange.

FINISH : In the line of the mouth, the bitterness is counterbalanced by slightly toasted notes that reveal the coexistence of vanilla sweetness and fruity bitterness.

RECOMMENDED SERVES : Enjoy straight or on the rocks.

FOOD PAIRINGS : Flavoured chocolate such as coffee, caper, liquorice.
