Tasting Notes
Lively with a dried tropical fruit nose with aromas of caramel, butterscotch and molasses. A vibrant spicy entry leads to an evolving palate of fruit, caramel and toasted coconut, fading to a vanilla-tinted glow.
Signature Cocktail
EL DORADO SWIZZLE
INGREDIENTS
50ml El Dorado 5 Year Old
20ml fresh lime juice
15ml sugar syrup
15ml passion fruit puree
15ml mango juice
1 passion fruit
METHOD
Add ingredients to a highball glass and fill with crushed ice. Gently swizzle (churn), top with crushed ice and garnish with a half passion fruit and mint sprigs.
PINA COLADA
INGREDIENTS
2 oz cream of coconut
2 oz pineapple juice
1½ oz El Dorado 5 Year Old
2 cups ice
1 piece fresh pineapple
METHOD
Add cream of coconut, pineapple juice, El Dorado rum, and ice in a blender. Pulse until smooth and combined, and then pour into glass. Garnish with a piece of fresh pineapple.
