Tokinoka White 500ml / White Oak

Tokinoka is produced by the White Oak Distillery (Eigashima), founded in 1679 in the city of Akashi and originally known for producing Sake and Sochu. The company became the first one to obtain a whisky distilling licence in 1919.

This blend of single malt and grain whisky is aged in three casks: Bourbon, Sherry and Sochu. The taste portrays the classic elegant Japanese style. It is soft and balanced with cereals, vanilla and white fruit aromas.

Nose: Honey'd cereal, green apple and a few sultanas.

Palate: White chocolate, floral malt, a drizzle of maple syrup.

Finish: Slightly oily, with a pinch of pink peppercorn.
