Grape varieties: 100% Merlot

Origin: From the sub-montainous single vineyard "Yataki",on the meridional outskirts of mount Knimis part of the privately owned vineyard of Domaine Hatzimichalis in Atalanti Valley.

Vinification: Classic red vinification under controlled temperature. Aged for 12 months in 228lt French oak barriques, in our underground cellars.

Alcoholic strength: 13,5% Vol

Ageing potential: Enjoy now or keep it under suitable storage conditions for at least 10-12 years from its harvest.

Tasting notes: Bright deep red color. The nose reveals aromas of red fruit, black and sour cherry, with hints of sweet spices. Medium bodied with velvety tannins and more earthy aromas combined with cloves and cinnamon. Round and well structured in the mouth with an enjoyable finish.

Food pairing – Serving temperature: Enjoy it with red sauce casseroles, baked or grilled poultry. Matches great with knuckle, pasta Bolognese and medium cheeses. Enjoy it at 16-18˚C.
