This sweet "Liastos" wine is a blend of local grapes which sun-dry (in the shadow), giving us a concentrated juice with density of aromas and taste. Caramelised apricots with a hint of herbs in the nose, followed by a bitter orange marmalade mouthfeel, which is balanced by the wine's exceptional freshness.

This sweet "Liastos" wine is a blend of local grapes that sun-dry (7 days in the shadow and 2 days into direct sunlight), giving us a concentrated juice with density of aromas and taste. The wine has been aged in 225l oak barrels for 12 months.
Tasting Note:
Clear golden colour. Intense deep bouquet of caramelised apricots with a hint of herbs in the nose, followed by a bitter orange marmalade mouthfeel balanced by the wine's exceptional freshness. This wine has an excellent bottle-ageing potential that an overpass 10 years.
Food matches:
Fruit, all traditional Cretan sweet pies and a large variety of creamy fruit desserts. Serve at 10°C - 11°C.
