Serving Tips
The earthy, woodsy flavor of our premium quality wild porcinis works well in a wide array of dishes. Sear porcini mushrooms in extra virgin olive oil and butter until golden-brown, add white wine and simmer over low heat until the liquid is absorbed. You can then use the sautéed mushrooms:
  • As a starter
  • In omelets and scrambled eggs
  • In pasta, risotto and gratins
  • In soups and stews
  • In creamy sauces
  • In sandwiches and bruschetta
  • As an ingredient in pizza, soufflés and quiche
  • As a topping in green salads and baked potatoes
  • To make a vegetarian burger
  • To garnish meat dishes (beef, veal or chicken)
How to Prepare Dried Porcinis for Cooking
