URSUS NATURAL VODKA

Ursus is the Latin word for ‘bear’. The brand name emphasizes the Nordic heritage of the original formula produced from 100% neutral grain spirits.

It is made according to an old Icelandic recipe, using only fine grain and pure water. No artificial flavors are used in the production. Thanks to its triple distillation and careful filtration, the vodka scores with its fine aromas and its special mildness.

The Ursus Vodka is made according to an old family recipe that was developed by a distiller family in Iceland at the beginning of the 20th century. In 1995 the Ursus Vodka Company NV, based in Hoorn in the Netherlands, acquired the recipe.

Enjoy Ursus straight, on the rocks or mixed in your favourite soft drinks or juices.

Tasting notes: Clear. Dark rye toast and mild vapor aromas. A buoyant entry leads to a dryish medium-bodied palate with pastry dough, whipped cream, and subtle coconut shaving flavors. Finishes with a nice wave of peppery spice and sweetened condensed milk. A nicely styled, clean, and very mixable vodka.
