Hardy VSOP Organic Tradition
The Tradition collection places the Hardy style, where smoothness is king, within the reach of every cognac connoisseur.
Small, high-quality plots were selected to create this organic VSOP. Hardy Organic espouses the haute couture style of the firm in all its mellow, feminine elegance. This VSOP stands out by its added hint of freshness and aromatic purity.
THE HARDY SPIRIT
A TASTE AND STYLE IN A CLASS OF THEIR OWN
Round, mellow, subtle: these are the first words which come to mind when you taste a Hardy cognac. For a long time the company has had its own, very personal style. “My uncle Francis Hardy had a taste for sugar, a ‘sweet tooth’ as the English like to call it. He favoured a very wellrounded style very early on.”
The Hardy style never seeks to rely too heavily on oak – we consider this to be an error in judgement. We like our cognac to be aromatic, light, almost airy.
At the grand old age of a hundred and fifty years, Hardy has been able to resist the temptation of fleeting trends. Ostentation and commotion give way to sensitivity and timeless grace. This constant search for elegance has guided its most recent creations. You need only to glance at the stylish, bold colours of the new Tradition range and you will be won over.
NEW HARDY TRADITION COLLECTION
INNOVATIVE, DARING AND COLOURFUL
Maison Hardy is offering a fresh take on its Tradition collection with five new packaging designs. Our VS, VSOP, VSOP Organic, XO and XO Rare reveal five different facets of the Hardy style, always with the emphasis on mild flavour and elegance.
The Tradition collection is the heart of the Hardy range. Far from being reserved for the “happy few”, it brings the unique Hardy style within reach of all Cognac-lovers.
The designs are elegant and daring in a way that would certainly have won the approval of Anthony Hardy.
HARDY: CREATORS OF HAUTE COUTURE COGNAC
The House of Hardy was founded by English gentleman Anthony Hardy in 1863. Anthony Hardy ran a wine and spirits business in London prior to settling in the Charente, where he set up as a distiller and wine broker.
Hardy fell in love with this corner of France, changing his first name from Anthony to Antoine and adopting the rooster as his coat of arms—the same rooster that still appears on every bottle and decanter, the symbol and emblem of the Hardy Cognac brand.
The family tradition and heritage live on today in the hands of Bénédicte Hardy, who ensures that the House of Hardy continues to make its mark.
The company’s efforts focus entirely on high-end products, continuing to expand the range of decanters it offers and, 150 years after it was founded, to win prizes and awards for the quality of its cognacs.
