Aged in American Oak barrels. Bacardi Oakheart has a depth of character unlike any other spiced rum. Spicy notes compliment the distinct vanilla and caramel aromas. While creamy vanilla and cinnamon dominate in the nose. hints of maple syrup and orange peel surprise in the mouth. Its whisky-like smokiness carries through to the fairly short and soft finish.
