The Squadron Leader box was originally created in memory of the Shot of Glory ritual performed by some Polish pilots of the Royal Air Force. After each successful mission, they celebrated their victory by sharing a shot of their homemade vodka around their Hurricane or Spitfire. A victory shot celebrated with the famous toast 'Cheers & Na Zdrowie!'.

The 100% natural Squadron 303 vodka is made in England at a distillery in North London. Its exclusive recipe scrupulously respects the constraints faced by the RAF's handcraft vodka distillers in the 1940s. Like its ancestors, Squadron 303 vodka is produced from a unique variety of locally grown potatoes, the King Edward, rich in starch. On the other hand, time was running out, so vodka was distilled only once, in small copper stills. The distillation of Squadron vodka 303 is therefore done in one pass. Its particularly long distillation time makes it possible to obtain an exceptional degree of purity, while maintaining a naturally sweet nose and aromas. To recall its original background, the Squadron 303 vodka is not filtered. This preserves the flavors and distinguishes itself from the usual vodka standards.

To celebrate the launch of the new Flying Flaks collection, we have offered the Flying Flask Squadron 303 Vodka to renowned warbird pilots. The goal was to fly this flask, inspired by those carried by the pilots of the Royal Air Force during the Second World War.
