THE VODKA SQUADRON 303, ORIGINS AND AUTHENTICITY

The 100% natural Squadron 303 vodka is made in England at a distillery in North London. Its exclusive recipe scrupulously respects the constraints faced by the RAF's handcraft vodka distillers in the 1940s. Like its ancestors, Squadron 303 vodka is produced from a unique variety of locally grown potatoes, the King Edward, rich in starch. On the other hand, time was running out, so vodka was distilled only once, in small copper stills. The distillation of Squadron vodka 303 is therefore done in one pass. Its particularly long distillation time makes it possible to obtain an exceptional degree of purity, while maintaining a naturally sweet nose and aromas. To recall its original background, the Squadron 303 vodka is not filtered. This preserves the flavors and distinguishes itself from the usual vodka standards.

Squadron 303 vodka is, above all, a human adventure. An adventure that brought together four long-time friends with a passion for aviation, history, design ... and vodka! After reconstituting a Royal Air Force officers' mess in the heart of Paris, Franck, Alain, Baptiste and Hugues launched the Squadron 303 vodka in October 2016. To celebrate the launch of the new Flying Flaks collection, we have offered the Flying Flask Squadron 303 Vodka to renowned warbird pilots. The goal was to fly this flask, inspired by those carried by the pilots of the Royal Air Force during the Second World War. Among the pilots who responded to the call of this operation 'Back in the Sky', is a legend well known to fans of vintage aircraft and former Royal Air Force pilot, Charlie Brown.
